Origin
Origin, composition and appearance
Noir Saint Laurent is a trade name generally associated with quarries in France, around Saint-Laurent-Minervois. Country, quarry and grade are still checked against the lot available in Morocco before ordering.
Its black background shows a network of natural veins. As with every natural stone, pattern density and shade vary from slab to slab.

This natural stone is not manufactured like a composite surface. It is quarried and then processed for the project.

Blocks are quarried and sorted for structure, colour and consistency.

Blocks are sawn into slabs. Depending on the stone, drying, filling or resin reinforcement may be applied.

The approved slab is cut to size, edge-finished, transported and installed with joints and treatments suited to the Marrakech project.
