Which material should you choose for a kitchen?
Kitchen stone is exposed to acids, grease, impacts and heat. We therefore prioritise suitable granite worktops and explain the limitations before recommending marble.

What we check before approval
Marble: possible with caution
Lemon, vinegar and tomato can dull or etch calcite marble. Treatment reduces staining but does not prevent acid attack.
The slab matters as much as the name
We check fissures, veining, usable size, cut-outs, edges and joints before fabrication.
