Marble floor grinding in Marrakech

Grinding removes a very thin layer of stone to correct certain defects and restore a more even surface. The floor must be assessed before any result can be promised.

Assess the floor before grinding

A dull floor does not always require full grinding. Depending on the stone, stains, scratches, joints and uneven areas, technical cleaning, polishing or crystallisation may be more appropriate. We begin with photographs, the surface area and, when needed, a site visit in Marrakech.

The quotation considers the marble type, area, furniture, edges, access and available utilities. Deep cracks, absorbed stains and structural defects may not disappear through grinding.

Frequently asked questions

Does grinding remove every stain?

No. Some stains have penetrated the stone or result from chemical reactions. The assessment clarifies what can be improved.

Can the property remain occupied?

This depends on the area, access and site organisation. These constraints are discussed before work.

Is crystallisation required after grinding?

The finish depends on the marble and desired appearance. Crystallisation may be proposed when technically suitable.
